SPOA Summit is the Premier Event for Photography Business Owners
NOTICE OF FILMING AND PHOTOGRAPHY
When you enter an SPOA event or program, you enter an area where photography, audio, and video recording may occur.
By entering the event premises, you consent to interview(s), photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, web casts, promotional purposes, telecasts, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by SPOA and its affiliates and representatives along with SPOA its contracted photographer and their members and affiliates. Images, photos and/or videos may be used to promote similar SPOA events in the future, highlight the event and exhibit the capabilities of SPOA. You release SPOA, its officers, members and employees, and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitizing, or publication and use of interviews, photographs, computer images, video and/or sound recordings.
By entering the event premises, you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any use, exhibition, streaming, web casting, televising, or other publication of these materials, regardless of the purpose or sponsoring of such use, exhibiting, broadcasting, web casting, or other publication irrespective of whether a fee for admission or sponsorship is charged. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or audio recording taken by SPOA or the person or entity designated to do so by SPOA.
You have been fully informed of your consent, waiver of liability, and release before entering the event.
SUMMIT REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY
SPOA hopes everyone who registers for the Summit will be able to attend; however, SPOA knows extenuating circumstances do occur. The SPOA International Summit Cancellation and Refund Policy will be as follows to assure consistency:
Summit registration canceled online on or before May 1, 2025, is refundable but subject to a $50 administrative fee.
Registrants canceling after May 1, 2025 will not receive a refund. The refund and cancellation policy will not be waived. Registration fees may be transferred to another individual; the invoice for the new registration will be revised to reflect the new registrant's membership status. As an alternative to cancellation, tickets can also be transferred to another person or to next year’s conference. Requests to transfer tickets to the 2026 conference must be received by May 15th, 2025. Requests to transfer tickets to another person to this year's conference must be received by Friday, June 6th, 2025.
In the event SPOA International Summit must cancel the conference due to unforeseen circumstances, SPOA will refund the cost of registration.
